SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

General information:

  • All online orders are shipped from the Very Ngon Homewares’ workshop in Cau Kieu Ward (formerly Phu Nhuan District), Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.
  • Orders are packaged at our workshop before being handed to the shipping company or sent via the local post office.
  • When ordering online, please include all details (including apartment names, street name and number) and any relevant points that will make it as easy as possible for the shipper to deliver without needing to contact you.

Delivery methods, time frames and fees (local/domestic):

  • A confirmation email containing your order and delivery details will be sent to you within one working day after placing an online order.
  • A receipt (if paid already) or invoice (if payment outstanding) will be sent with your items.
  • For orders delivered within a 5 km radius of our workshop*, we use the local motorbike courier company, Be. Delivery will be organised within 1-2 working days after an order has been received. When an order has been collected from our workshop, Be sends a text message and an estimated time of delivery to the recipient.

*   This 5 km radius includes former Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, Binh Thanh and Phu Nhuan District/Cau Kieu Ward.

  • For orders falling outside of the 5 km radius, items will be sent by Vietnam Post. Standard domestic shipping takes from 3 days to 1 week within Ho Chi Minh City and to the larger cities (Ha Noi, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An and Nha Trang), and up to 2 weeks for smaller urban/regional areas. A copy of the tracking number will be sent/emailed to you in order for you to check the location and estimated delivery date.
  • For urgent deliveries, please advise us as soon as possible and we will do our best to assist.
  • A flat fee of VND 30,000 (+ VAT) is applied to each order and delivery.
  • Prices for delivery or postage are subject to change without notice.
  • Very Ngon Homewares’ products are also available at a number of retailers throughout Viet Nam. To locate your nearest retailer, check our Shop Locations or Contact Us pages. You may prefer to purchase directly through one of these boutiques.

International orders:

  • Due to the unpredictable and continuing international increases in postage and shipping costs, we no longer offer an international shipping service outside of Viet Nam.
  • International businesses, retailers and individuals interested in purchasing products can contact us directly via one of the channels listed below. If we can assist, we will be happy to do so.

Delivery/shipping delays:

  • Where there will be a delay in delivery or shipping, we will contact you within 1-2 working days via one of our communication channels listed below to advise when the next available delivery/shipping date will be.
  • You have the right to refuse an offer for a late delivery. You can choose to cancel your order and, where payment has already been received by us, receive a full refund (see our Refunds and Returns Policy for details).
  • If an attempt to deliver your order is unsuccessful due to an error on your part (such as, but not limited to, you have provided inadequate instructions for delivery, the address is not clear and the shipper could not locate it, reception refused to accept the package, etc), your order will be returned to our workshop. If you wish for it to be re-delivered, you will be responsible for paying the delivery fee for both the previous attempt as well as the for the re-delivery.

Product inspections (what we check before delivery):

  • Our staff are trained to check the following during our quality control (QA) inspections, which are performed at the post-production stage of manufacture:
  • Product conformity: correct size.
  • Physical condition: no misprints.
  • Functionality: items are checked for stitching and, where appropriate, zipper or other closure functionality.
  • Before shipping an order, we check that there are no stains or damage to items.

Product inspections (what you should check after delivery):

When your order has been delivered:

  • Check the external condition of the package. If the package is torn or shows signs of being opened, take a photo.
  • Record a video of opening the package from start to finish as evidence in case there are any (additional) problems with the delivery process or the products.
  • Inspect your order and notify us within 3 working days via one of the channels listed below if one or more items ordered are missing or damaged. Provide us with the video showing the product/s being unpacked, as well as detailed images of any damaged item/s.
  • To make a claim for a refund or exchange, damaged items are to be returned to our workshop.
